Welcome to Project Management Discussion!

You are invited to take advantage of numerous resources found on the site. For your use and enjoyment, the following areas of the site are open to members:

PeopleDiscussion Forums: Here you will find advice and solutions to many of the problems facing the Project Manager and the Project Management Community. It has been specially-designed to create the unique opportunity of offering cross-industry, cross-platform, and cross-cultural insights into PM-related problems and their solutions.

Wiki: The PMD Wiki represents a repository of factual reference material which will be updated as members contribute and edit the material. The most widely-recognized Wiki application on the internet is the Wikipedia site which acts as a constantly updated reference source.

Blogs: Blogs offer members the opportunity to chronicle their thoughts, experiences, and opinions, as well as create an individual photo gallery. One use of the blog capability may be to document the daily progress and problems of project execution. Another may be to report on a professional conference and the events conducted. Possibilities are unlimited and bounded only by the imagination of the individual member.

Newsletter: Published periodically to keep all members apprised of changes in the site and important upcoming events.

Newsfeeds: PMD newsfeeds deliver up-to-date information about PM-related industry segments and PM-specific sources. Information is refreshed constantly, and there is no more up-to-date resource available anywhere.

Polls and Surveys - through use of modern and effective poll and survey tools, members are able to query the PM community to confirm/refute hypotheses, or just gain greater insights into developing trends and issues.

COMING SOON

Resource Portal: We are excited about the upcoming "Resource Portal" which will be useful for Employers, Job-seekers, and those seeking Contract Opportunities. Presently, those needs are provided through the discussion forums, but with more advanced and capable tools, we expect these resources to be the very best available, and of great benefit to our PMD membership.

If you see anything that needs improvement or have suggestions for future features and enhancements, please send us a Private Message (through the forums) or email, or post in the Administrative section for Forum Feedback.

We want this to be your PM home on the internet and welcome your feedback, suggestions, criticism, and compliments.
