Estimating accuracy - mentoring
«

If there is one thing I had to pick from my PM repertoire that I could use more skill and help with I would have to pick estimating. I'm much better at managing a group, keeping projects on schedule, etc. but when it comes down to working on budgets and estimating procured items, etc. I just seem to crumble, not to mention it just grates me in general because I hate the whole estimating end of things (luckily we are moving more towards having a department for that now).
Still, I would like to know if there are any resources you could recommend to better sharpen my estimating skills. Any leads appreciated.

Here are some article about
Cost Estimating
. Check the EVM article, cost estimating, in my opinion, is easier than
activity estimate
because the latter suffers of much more unknowns.
