Currently, many organisations in Tanzania are required by law to have a Procurement Management Unit (PMU). As a norma, the head of PMU has to be a qualified Supplies Officer, or procurement officer.
Unfortunately many have no knowledge nor experience in Projects and or Project Management. I am planning to write a paper to address the importance of PM and project managers to this group. Any ideas out there?
